Before you start
Quick prep that prevents 90% of install headaches
Tools you'll need
- Phillips screwdriver — for seat bolts
- Adjustable wrench — for hose connections
- Small towel — to catch drips during swap
What's in the box
- Bidet attachment
- Metal T-valve — leak-safe connection
- Braided hose — durable, won't crack
- Mounting hardware + quick-start guide
Step-by-step installation
Follow along with the video or use these detailed steps
1 Shut off water & prep
- Find the shutoff valve (wall behind toilet) and turn clockwise until it stops
- Flush and hold the handle to empty as much tank water as possible
- Place a towel under the tank connection to catch any drips
2 Remove the toilet seat
- Pop open the bolt caps on top of the seat (if present)
- Unscrew and remove bolts — some seats have nuts underneath
- Lift off the seat and set aside
3 Position the bidet attachment
- Place the Moby on the bowl using the seat bolt holes
- Align so it sits centered and flat
- Reinstall your seat on top and tighten until snug (don't over-tighten)
4 Install the T-valve
- Disconnect the water supply hose from the bottom of the tank
- Attach the T-valve to the tank inlet (make sure the washer is seated)
- Reconnect the supply hose to the bottom of the T-valve
Most leak issues happen when a washer is mis-seated or a connection isn't snug.
5 Connect the bidet hose
- Connect the braided hose from T-valve outlet to bidet inlet
- Hand-tighten first, then a gentle snug with wrench if needed
6 Turn on water & check for leaks
- Turn shutoff valve on slowly (counterclockwise)
- Watch every connection for 30–60 seconds
- If you see a drip: turn off water, snug that connection, recheck
7 Test the spray (start low!)
- Stand to the side and turn the dial slightly from OFF
- Confirm spray direction and pressure control works
- Return dial to OFF — you're done!
Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for common issues — most take under 2 minutes
💧 I see a leak or drip at a connection
- Turn water off at the shutoff valve
- Unscrew the leaking connection and check that the washer is seated flat
- Hand-tighten first, then snug gently — over-tightening can misalign
- Turn water back on slowly and recheck for 60 seconds
If you need help, send a photo of the leaking spot to speed up support.
🚿 Pressure feels weak / spray is low
- Confirm the shutoff valve is fully open
- Turn dial slowly from OFF — first movement should be gentle
- Check that the hose isn't kinked
- If your home water pressure is low, it may limit max spray strength
🎯 Spray aim feels off
- Loosen seat bolts slightly, re-center the attachment, tighten evenly
- Make sure the attachment sits flat (not skewed left/right)
- Test while standing to the side first
🪑 Seat won't sit flat / feels wobbly
- Check for uneven tightening — tighten both sides evenly
- Make sure no part of the attachment is pinched under seat hardware
- Quick-release seats may need a different mounting order
Send a photo of the bolt area and we'll confirm the best setup.
🔧 Shutoff valve won't turn / stuck
- Don't force it — older valves can crack and leak
- If stuck, contact a plumber or building maintenance
- In apartments, ask maintenance to free/replace the valve before installing
🚽 Toilet tank keeps running after install
- Usually unrelated to bidet — the tank flapper/float likely got bumped
- Open tank lid, confirm float moves freely
- Check that nothing is pushing on the fill valve
💦 Water drips from nozzle when OFF
- Ensure dial is fully returned to OFF
- Confirm shutoff valve is fully open (partial open can behave oddly)
- If consistent dripping continues, contact support with a short video
Toilet types
What to watch for with different setups
✓ Two-piece (most common)
Tank + bowl are separate. Usually the easiest install — water inlet is easy to access.
One-piece or skirted
Can be tighter around bolts and water connections. Send a photo if access looks limited.
Hidden/bottom-mount hardware
If you can't access bolts from above, you may need to hold a nut underneath while loosening.
Non-standard seat shapes
Custom or square seats can interfere with alignment. Send a top-down photo if unsure.
